Day 72 of #100daysofnetworks
GrooveSeeker GraphRAG 0.2.0 Progress: First Day
Hello everyone! This week is GrooveSeeker GraphRAG Week, so I have been very busy working on the second release of GrooveSeeker’s GraphRAG. The very first GrooveSeeker GraphRAG (semver 0.1.0) was built in November, 2025.
You can read more about it on the GrooveSeeker blog. I did a GraphRAG Test Drive of the 0.1.0 interface on the GrooveSeeker blog, and this time I will do it on the #10daysofnetworks blog.
Updates, and Work Remaining
In the PREMIUM (paid) article I wrote this week, I mentioned that I had a few capabilities and goals to work towards.
SPEED INCREASE: Definitely Achieved
Simple Search: Achieved; Testing
Exact Match: Work in Progress; Testing
OR lookups: Seems Achieved; Testing
AND lookups: Seems Achieved; Testing
TEMPORAL (tomorrow, next week, in the next hour): Seems Achieved; Testing
To save space, I also listed the current status. I am seeing a massive speedup, even without distributed processing, so I no longer need that at this time. In fact, the entire workflow has been simplified, considerably, and made much faster.
I will explain how I accomplished these things in PREMIUM (paid) articles.
The big win so far is in terms of speed and completeness. I get answers in 2-4 seconds, and I get complete information, 100%, not partial. That translates to speed and reliability. Fast and reliable AI.
Show and Tell
Today will be a Show and Tell. This is brand new, and I am loving playing with this, and finding out what is happening around me. You can use the website gsv3.ai to find things to enjoy, but soon you will be able to chat with AI and do the same. I would love to put this on a phone app.
For today’s show and tell, I’m going to show:
The prompt
Some of the results (there is too much to show)
URLs will be shown. These are the URLs where the information was found, not hallucinated by AI. My systems show where information comes from and highlights information. My systems amplify and describe rather than claiming to know. Observers are easier to defend than judges.
Each of these answers takes about 2-4 seconds to get, from the time the prompt is run. I love this speedup. These used to take 30-60 seconds, or sometimes more. The massive speedup was definitely achieved, and I am enjoying it. I didn’t even need to use Distributed Processing, so everything has been simplified and made faster without it! Elegant!

Work in Progress
This is still a work in progress. These are the Day One results for GrooveSeeker GraphRAG week. The results are impressive, but the speedup is incredible. Once this is built, I’ll put it behind an API and a Chat Interface and have fun with it.
This is already useful to me. Perfect will be great, but this is already a big improvement for my own musical awareness. I can now see opportunities. I can see events to go to, and even events to participate in! My AI interfaces give me the ability to understand the world and interact with it!
That’s all for today! I have to get back to this work! The thing has been built, and now it is time for testing and tweaking, and then overall validation. There is a lot more to do. I just wanted to give a quick tour of the progress as it is very exciting, already!
GrooveSeeker is really coming alive like never before. I could never have imagined this when I first created GrooveSeeker in 1999.
That’s all for today! Another PREMIUM article will be written soon, giving details about optimizations found, what worked, what didn’t, and more. Please subscribe and share this blog with your friends and coworkers!
Please Support this Work!
I have written over 70 articles for this series. Each one takes about four hours of research, and several pages of writing and editing. Here are some ways you can support the blog!
If you can do only one thing, please mention this blog to your friends and colleagues. Please help it grow!
Please subscribe if you have not. This motivates me like nothing else!
BIGGEST HELP to the BLOG: Please consider upgrading if you are a subscriber. Thank you to all current paying subscribers for making this research and development possible! You can have Database access and minimal GraphRAG code if you want it.
Please buy my book to understand how I think about Natural Language Processing and Network Science combined.
I will open up early access to my second book Graph: Zero to Hero very soon. Please stay tuned.
Platform access to the Living Library of Knowledge is opening, NOW. Please let me know if you are interested in access.
Please reach out to me if interested in training related to Data Science, Data Engineering, Network Science, Knowledge Graphs, Artificial Intelligence, or anything else I write about. Feel free to message me on Substack or on LinkedIn!
Feel free to hang out in the comments and have a good time!
We have come so far since the very first day of the very first #100daysofnetworks. I love writing for this series. Thank you for being a part of it!
