Day 71 of #100daysofnetworks
It's GrooveSeeker GraphRAG Week!
Hello everyone! I’m very excited today, because it is GrooveSeeker GraphRAG Week! I’ve been quietly preparing for this for a few weeks, and now it is time! This means a few things for all of us and for this blog!
I am designing the spec for my 0.2.0 GraphRAG for GrooveSeeker. This release is Distributed GraphRAG. The signal is strong and I need more power.
I will be writing new articles for paying subscribers. These new articles will be labeled to clearly show that they are for paying subscribers. They might be titled something like “PREMIUM ARTICLE: Text2Cypher for Distributed GraphRAG”, or similar. I will make it obvious what is a Day NN article and what is a Premium article.
I inspire and show what is possible with free articles, and I show how and explain what worked and what didn’t with paid articles.
Progress So Far
It is Monday afternoon, and I have made good progress on GrooveSeeker GraphRAG Week. We have done several things:
We have more than doubled GrooveSeeker’s visibility into upcoming events around the world.
I have planned out the set of capabilities that will go into the 0.2.0 GraphRAG interface. I will describe them in the upcoming PREMIUM article. You will need to be a paying subscriber to read those.
I have planned out the infrastructure development that needs to happen outside of this software and AI engineering, in order to make this reliable and useful.
I have what I need: I have a lot of very useful and exciting data, I have a set of capabilities to build towards, I will use this same list of capabilities to set up testing and validation workflows, and there will be APIs and other things available soon to make this more easily useful.
Why Do This?
Why bother creating the GraphRAG 0.2.0 when 0.1.0 already works? Because that is how software iteration is done in the real world. You start with an idea and get it to work. Once it is working, you notice things that annoy you about it or that you want to improve, and those things then get added to the roadmap to do.
This release is about speed. I already have accuracy and reliability. I already have real-time awareness of things happening in the world, because the Living Library of Knowledge provides that. Now I want AI that gives FASTER answers. Then I can be real-time in two ways:
My AI interfaces know what is happening in the world, as it happens.
My AI interfaces answer quickly, not in a full minute.
The first one is already solved for me, and you can have it too, if you buy access to my platforms. This week’s work will hopefully lead me closer to the second. I expect it will take a lot of work to get to this goal, but I also suspect that the 80/20 rule applies here, and that there are big gains to be made easily, and the rest will happen over time.
Premium Starts Now
Premium Articles are starting this week, today. I am going to go straight from this article into writing the first premium article, giving more detail on what I am building towards, what tools I use for various parts of the process, giving builder insights.
Here we go. This is very exciting for me.
Today’s article is short, announcing this pivot. I will continue to write free articles, but I am also beginning to write Premium AI and Builder related content, starting immediately, giving the engineering side of me more of a voice. I like to talk about things like testing and validation. Premium will give me a space to be more technical.
So, for today, there are really two main calls to action:
Please subscribe if you haven’t yet subscribed to this blog, so that you get to learn about Network Science, Graph Theory, Simulation, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Life, and all the cool things you won’t hear about if you only follow the industry.
And please consider upgrading to a paid subscription if you would like to learn builder insights from someone with more than 40 years of experience building things with code and data.
Thank you! See you next article! This is today’s announcement! Happy Monday!

Please Support this Work!
I have written over 70 articles for this series. Each one takes about four hours of research, and several pages of writing and editing. Here are some ways you can support the blog!
If you can do only one thing, please mention this blog to your friends and colleagues. Please help it grow!
Please subscribe if you have not. This motivates me like nothing else!
BIGGEST HELP to the BLOG: Please consider upgrading if you are a subscriber. Thank you to all current paying subscribers for making this research and development possible! You can have Database access and minimal GraphRAG code if you want it.
Please buy my book to understand how I think about Natural Language Processing and Network Science combined.
I will open up early access to my second book Graph: Zero to Hero very soon. Please stay tuned.
Platform access to the Living Library of Knowledge is opening, NOW. Please let me know if you are interested in access.
Please reach out to me if interested in training related to Data Science, Data Engineering, Network Science, Knowledge Graphs, Artificial Intelligence, or anything else I write about. Feel free to message me on Substack or on LinkedIn!
Feel free to hang out in the comments and have a good time!
We have come so far since the very first day of the very first #100daysofnetworks. I love writing for this series. Thank you for being a part of it!
