Day 64 of #100daysofnetowrks
LLK Platform Opens, Zero to Hero Moves, GSV3 GraphRAG Incoming
Hi everybody!
Today’s article will be short and sweet, and really serves as a milestone for some good stuff that’s been going on. That last dozen or so articles were very technical, and I need a break today. Just giving an update.
Graph: Zero to Hero
First, I’ve mentioned here and there that I would be starting a new book, called Graph: Zero to Hero. Well, good news! Chapter One has been completed, as of a few hours ago, today!
This is a very cool book.
In my first book, I explained the importance of the marriage between Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Graph. I had learned this lesson from 2017 to 2021, and my book was published at the beginning of 2023, almost three years ago. And now three years later, GraphRAG is the thing being talked about for building reliable AI, the literal marriage of Graph and NLP, the literal subject of my first book. This makes me happy and is validating.
But this new book is different. Since 2021, I have learned to SCALE graph analysis to billion scale. On this blog, I have written about million scale graph visualization with Cosmograph. That kind of learning came with time, scaling, scaling, scaling, bigger and bigger and bigger, and finding more useful tools.
So, the new book is truly Zero to Hero. A reader can go from “What is a graph? Like a bar chart?” to drawing minimal GraphRAG on a notebook and then going home and building it.
If you are reading this blog, you are already ahead. We already talk about scale, and I haven’t even begun to approach explaining billion or infinite scaling, yet.
Today, I completed Chapter One of my new book, and I really like it. It’s a completely different book, with a completely different vibe. I don’t like it better or worse. It is a different book completely, and that makes me even happier. I don’t want to write the same book over and over. :)
I will soon open up early access, but I’m not ready yet. The words are only a few hours old and unedited. Soon!
Living Library of Knowledge
Second, my company Verdant Intelligence has brought its Living Library of Knowledge (LLK) online. This is brand new, but we are opening up early access, because it is already powerful and very useful.
We have a formula that we use: LLM + LLK = Realtime AI
The abbreviation LLK was a total accident, and I about fell out of my chair. It worked out perfectly.
When we talk about Realtime AI, we mean AI that understands what has changed in the world in the last few minutes, not AI that can talk fast. We mean AI that understands in real-time whether something has changed in the world. I don’t really care about fast-talking AI. I would rather know what is going on, and be safe. I don’t care if it takes 30 seconds to give me a useful answer. That is better than a garbage answer in sub-second speeds, in my opinion. So, this is how we build. I don’t follow crowds.
So, stay tuned, and please reach out to me if you are interested in platform access. If you build with AI, you can plug right into this. It is simple, and we are pricing this for individuals and small businesses, first. We intend to empower humans, not chase wealth.
We have already onboarded our first users, and you could be one of the next.
If you have questions, feel free to leave them in the comments, or message me!
GrooveSeeker Stickers
Next, I announced on LinkedIn that I would be mailing out some free GrooveSeeker stickers! These are really nice, and I’ve got one on my laptop. Several people have expressed interest in these, so I am going to mail out a limited number of these.
GrooveSeeker is Verdant Intelligence’s first fractal intelligence, spawned from our core intelligence. GrooveSeeker is event intelligence, and it is included as part of the Living Library of Knowledge. We currently see events going all the way to the end of 2026, such as this one:
"CHURCH OF HIVE

Dang. Yup, that’s December 27, 2026. We can see HUNDREDS of upcoming events, and the GrooveSeeker GraphRAG interface will be built soon. I LOVE GrooveSeeker. It has its own Substack page, so please subscribe if interested:
How is this useful? Too many ways to count, limited only by imagination:
This contains event information of many types, not just music.
We currently use this in San Francisco, California, in order to predict foot traffic and to plan staffing.
This could be used for really creative research, if you are thoughtful. If I were a researcher, I’d want to understand if my favorite genre of music has become more or less influential over time, for instance.
If I were an event organizer, I’d use this to avoid stepping on other organizers’ toes, or to maximize the chances of success of my own events.
And on, and on, and on.
GraphRAG from Scratch
On days 62 and 63, I wrote about how to build Minimal GraphRAG from Scratch. I am going to do one of two things and haven’t decided yet:
Do a series of articles for paying readers, explaining what I did, challenges I overcame, the final code I landed on, and how the code works.
Write one large document and make it available to paying readers, then sell that document later as a short book.
I’ll probably do the latter, as that’s easier. All paying readers will be given access. Please consider upgrading your subscription if this is of interest to you, because this won’t take long.
After it is written, I’ll figure out how to publish it as a book. I’m just new to self-publishing, and these will be self-published.
Thank you, everyone!
Thank you, everyone! I’ve been working very hard with this blog, in creating the Living Library of Knowledge, and writing my second book. There is so much I am trying to do.
Special thanks to all of the enthusiastic people I have been talking to lately. I’m meeting more people in the AI space, I’m meeting more founders, and I’m meeting more people who are interested in LLK platform access.
We are working on so many exciting things. It’s really nice to see what this blog has become, since the first iteration of #100daysofnetworks on LinkedIn in 2020.
Ok, I am out of steam but very happy that I completed Chapter One of my new book today, and this short article. Success. Now I have a clean slate going into next week. All milestones accomplished, all important things announced. Let’s go build the future.
Please Support this Work!
I have written over 60 articles for this series. Each one takes about four hours of research, and several pages of writing and editing. Here are some ways you can support the blog!
Please mention this blog to your friends and colleagues.
Please subscribe if you have not. This motivates me like nothing else!
BIGGEST HELP to the BLOG: Please consider upgrading if you are a subscriber. Thank you to all current paying subscribers for making this research and development possible! You can have Database access and minimal GraphRAG code if you want it.
Please buy my book to understand how I think about Natural Language Processing and Network Science combined.
I will open up early access to my second book Graph: Zero to Hero very soon. Please stay tuned.
Platform access to the Living Library of Knowledge is opening, NOW. Please let me know if you are interested in access.
Please reach out to me if interested in training related to Data Science, Data Engineering, Network Science, Knowledge Graphs, Artificial Intelligence, or anything else I write about. Feel free to message me on Substack or on LinkedIn!
Feel free to hang out in the comments and have a good time!
We have come so far since the very first day of the very first #100daysofnetworks. I love writing for this series. Thank you for being a part of it!

Love the passion, the energy, the knowledge you share, the the determination you bring to your every day.
GrooveSeeker learning is on my #GrowFaster priority list for Q1 2026. Put it on your list!
